How to use

1. Fill the cup with the chosen solution.
2. Hold the machine vertically and apply to the body in downward movements, starting from the legs and gradually moving up.
3. The application distance can be adjusted according to practice and the desired result.
4. For a more natural tone, rinse about 1 hour after application.
5. Leave it on longer for a deeper and darker result.

Rinse the body with warm water for about 45 seconds. Do not use soap or exfoliator during this first rinse.

The tan will continue to develop and intensify in the following 24 hours.

You can resume normal bathing between 8 and 16 hours after application.

With proper skin care, the tan can remain even for approximately 5 to 10 days.

Pre-tanning checklist

• Exfoliate and hydrate the skin 24 hours before application, paying special attention to elbows, knees, ankles, and dry areas.
• Wax or shave at least 48 hours before treatment, to allow time for the pores to close.
• During the 24 hours prior to application, avoid bar soaps, high pH shower products, oil-based products, and bath moisturizers.
• Before application, the skin should be clean and dry. Excess moisture can cause the product to slide and affect the result.
• Do not apply moisturizer, perfume, deodorant, or makeup on the day of application.
• If necessary, apply only a small amount of moisturizer to the knees and elbows to help prevent excessive absorption in those areas.
• If going to a salon, wear loose clothing to put on after application.

• When using self-tanning foam or lotion, always apply with a glove to ensure even coverage and protect your hands.
• The glove can also be used to even out and blend a self-tanning mist.
• When using the Bronze Babe Spray Tan Kit, keep the machine vertical and apply in downward movements to each area of the body.
• Use less product on drier, sensitive, or problematic areas, such as the face, elbows, hands, knees, and feet.
• You can apply a little moisturizer to those areas before tanning to create a light barrier and reduce excessive color buildup.

Post-tanning checklist

• After allowing the tan to develop, take a quick shower with warm water.
• In the first rinse, use only water.
• Do not use very hot water during the development time.
• Do not use shower gels, exfoliators, shampoos, or sponges in the first 24 hours after application.
• Pat the skin dry gently, without rubbing.
• Wear dark and loose clothing after application. Tight clothing or shoes can leave marks.
• Moisturize the skin daily after applying the self-tanner.
• From the 5th day, exfoliate daily with a gentle body scrub to help the tan fade more evenly.

MineTan Pro Spray Mist solutions can last up to a year when closed. However, we recommend that salon professionals open their solutions before 6 months for best results. Pro Spray Mist sprays expire 6 months after opening. Be sure to keep the solutions away from sunlight, avoiding contact with metal and maintaining a maximum temperature of 24 to 30 degrees Celsius (75 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit) for long-term storage. Refrigerating the solution after opening will help extend the shelf life of the Pro Spray Mist sprays.

FAQ

The spray mist does not come out fine and seems to create freckles or spots

This can happen due to a problem with the distribution valve. Unscrew the cup from the Bronze Babe and, inside the top of the nozzle, you will see a small piece of black rubber. Remove this piece and squeeze it between your fingers a few times to ensure that the small opening of the valve is clear. Then reinsert it. You can also adjust the spray amount using the rotary knob on the back of the gun.

The mist does not come out fine enough and larger random spots appear

Check the duct valve, as it may need a slight adjustment. The flow control and application distance also greatly influence the final result.

If I mess up the flow or apply too close, the tan gets ruined

At first, some adjustment may be necessary until you find the ideal flow. Even if the application looks imperfect before rinsing, the final result can become more even after developing and rinsing properly.

The tan does not get dark enough with spray tanning

Check the application distance and flow regulation. Even if the guide color does not seem very dark at first, the tan continues to develop during the 12 to 24 hours following the first rinse.

Excess solution comes out of the gun and the person gets wet

Check if the cup is tightly screwed and secure. Also, clean the threads of the cup and gun before tightening again, as there may be accumulated solution. Do not fill the cup above 3/4 of its capacity and adjust the gun for a lighter flow.

How to clean the applicator gun

Clean over a sink or towel. Remove the hose from the gun, unscrew the cup, and empty any remaining solution. Wash the cup with warm water until clean and then fill about 1/4 with warm water. Reattach the cup, connect the hose, and turn on the machine. Adjust the flow control to the highest position and spray the water until the cup is empty. Then return the control to its usual setting, disconnect the gun from the hose, unscrew the cup, and dry everything. Do not immerse the gun in water.

How to tan the back with the Bronze Babe

The recommendation is to hold the gun at the top of the shoulders with the gun head pointing down, allowing the mist to settle on the back. You can then use a glove to help even out the application.

Can I mix Pro Spray Mist solutions

Yes. The recommendation given was to use about 50% of each solution when mixing.

The skin may feel sticky after application

If you apply a very large amount at once or do two layers, the skin may feel stickier because absorption will be slower. You can use a hairdryer or lightly apply baby powder to help reduce that feeling.
